This picture is from buffalo chicken pasta that I made last week. I take absolutely no credit for this recipe whatsoever. I used Juli Baur’s recipe and changed nothing. Actually, that’s a lie. I actually used 1/2 as much mayo as her recipe calls for, I used Frank’s Hot Sauce rather than Tessemae’s and I added bacon on top. But other than that, everything is the exact same. It’s so good, there is no reason to change a THING about it. Continue reading
I have literally so many recipes I want to share right now, I just wish I had the time to write the posts for each one! At least you will have something to look forward to, since I know everyone waits for my posts with baited breath. In case curiosity is killing you, or you just need a reason to check back for recipes, here’s what I have in the works: paleo calzones (with NO bread), staying paleo when traveling (mainly roadtripping), apple and onion pork burgers (which are what is topping the kale salad in the picture above), sundried tomato and pesto stuffed chicken, as well as a few more that I am working on this week. Remember that time I gave you a recipe for pesto chicken salad? Or the one for curry chicken salad? If not, you should probably go check them out. I make a variation of one of these three chicken salads every week. Continue reading
Longest title ever. But it was necessary to include all of the deliciousness, as well as make sure you know upfront that this isn’t strict paleo. You can make it strict paleo by cutting out the cucumber salad and tzatziki if you want.
I also made an arugula and spinach salad for the burger to rest on, but I thought that putting that in the title would actually scare people away. Continue reading
I can’t even think of a better name for this salad. The amount of goodness in it is way too awesome for any other name. It doesn’t require a lot of cooking other than the meats and the prep is pretty minimal. Continue reading
I decided to make this my first post because this salad (minus the dressing) was my first real effort in eating paleo. I actually had this salad made for me every night when we first started Crossfit by my then-roommate Kirsten and I didn’t make it for myself until more than a year later. I don’t think that I will ever be able to make it quite as good as she did, but it comes pretty close. Continue reading
