Paleo On The Go Snacks (with lots of pictures!)

I know, I know. It’s been days since I’ve posted anything. That whole working full-time and trying to have a social life really gets in the way of blogging. I promise, I have plenty of posts ready for you! I’m pretty embarrassed that my first post after almost a week is a really lame, rhyme-y titled post. Oh well. It is what it is. photo 5 (4)

So last Friday I went to Whole Foods because I have been dying to get my hands on some Tessemae’s paleo sauces. Imagine my excitement when I got there and not only were they doing samplings of a few of their sauces, but after talking with a brand ambassador I also found out that the company started right near my hometown of Annapolis, Maryland. Luckily for me, they have pretty much every flavor of Tessemae’s at my local Whole Foods. I ended up buying their ketchup, hot sauce (which is what I originally went for) and this super amazing soy ginger dressing. I have to admit, the ketchup is a little sweeter than I prefer and I still need to give the hot sauce another chance, but the soy ginger dressing is amazing. For how much I go through hot sauce, I’m not sure that I would keep buying it, and I don’t use salad dressings very often and when I do I would prefer to have a paleo version, so I will definitely keep the soy ginger in my fridge. Avocado + Buffalo Sauce = The Best Guacamole Ever

I really should start this post with my ode to avocados. Like many things, I was an avocado virgin just a few years ago. I regret my former disdain for avocados every day. I seriously missed out for the 24 years that I didn’t put them on anything and everything. If you’ve read my recipe for the easiest and most delicious salad ever, which you can find here, then you will see where my love of avocados began. My former roommate used to make that salad for us pretty much every night when we started Crossfit and eating better, and that’s when I realized how unbelievable avocados were.
